Participants can look forward to getting this service if you need help with personal care like dressing, eating, showering, and taking medicines. We also help with everyday housekeeping like cleaning, cooking, and nourishment planning.

SIL/STA Options at The Hive
Short-term or respite accommodation is usually needed when your carer is away or when your family goes on vacation. It allows you to enjoy a short stay in a place where you can still receive the level of support at the frequency and intensity that you are used to at home. Enjoy “The Hive” and all the facilities and services it has to offer.
Medium Term Accommodation
If you’ve just come out of hospital and require care before going home, or if you need a place to stay while you wait for a permanent vacancy, you may need medium-term accommodation. This is typically funded by the NDIS for a period of up to 90 days for participants who need a slightly longer stay than short-term respite. The benefits of this option are that you can have sufficient time to settle in for a few months while receiving adequate care and support.
Supported Independent Living
The NDIS will fund Supported Independent Living (SIL) for participants with high personal care needs. This does not cover your accommodation costs, but it will cover the support that can be provided from Beesy Nursing at The Hive for you to live independently in shared accommodation. With this support, you can live your own life without having to depend on family 24/7.
